I'm persian, and I found some realy good persian rose water. What are some good recipes with it? I heard you can do some really good baking with it. Thanks =)
What are some good recipes that use rose water?
Try Kheer (indian rice pudding). You add rose water to that.
There is also a persian style rice pudding that calls for it as well.
I dont have a recipe quickly right off hand but you can google it.
I also add it sometimes to my Baklava syrup (also persian)
Edit: Most Persian deserts call for rose water. See desert names below. Google for a recipe. I cant give them all :)

1 tablespoon heavy cream
1 tablespoon rose water
Pastry for 2 (9-inch) crusts, recipe follows
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

1 package (about 2 cups) frozen packaged hash browns
1 tablespoon buttermilk pancake mix
1 egg
1/2 package leek-chive soup mix
1/2 cup thinly sliced scallions, plus more for garnish
1 tablespoon rose water
2 tablespoons canola oil
Sour cream, for garnish
Pre-sliced smoked salmon strips
In a large bowl combine hash browns, pancake mix, egg, soup mix, scallions, and rose water. Heat oil on a griddle or large skillet over medium-high heat. Drop hash brown mixture, in tablespoon-sized portions onto hot pan, and cook until golden brown, turning halfway through. Remove from pan to drain and then serve by placing a dollop of sour cream on top of each pancake. To create an extremely special garnish, roll each salmon strip, starting with large end, and place on its side to create a rose-shaped bundle. Place 1 "rose" salmon strip on each potato pancake amid the sour cream. Sprinkle with scallions.

Reply:its beautiful in a rich moist almond cake, you can put it in syrup and spoon over the top of a plain cake to get rose cake. Love it. Also, you can make a cake batter, add in rosewater and deep fry it into donuts, then pour hot honey over them while they are still hot. Sprinkle with crushed pistachios.
