How do you put an old, dried rose into a frame to display it?

It's a long stem rose- the flower is detached from the stem- there are some additional loose petals. Thanks!

I agree with the shadowbox. If you do not want a flat rose you can hang fresh roses upside down and the will dry out and keep thier shape. Use hot glue or glue dots to adhere them. I made a shadow box full of roses like that and it reall turned into a nice piece of art.
Reply:You could consider using a shadowbox. The frame would be deep enough that it wouldnt smash the rose, and you could also put other things in the frame with it. It makes a neat 3-D wall display.
Reply:I agree, a shadowbox would be best for a rose that's already dried and would probably crumble if you tried to flatten it.
Reply:what i did was i took a few dictionaries and put them on top of the rose, to flatten it.

after it was flat, i took a small frame and put the rose in the middle, crushed up some dried petals that fell off and sprinkled them around.

then i closed up the frame, and hung it up for all to enjoy.

hope i helped!
