I have some beautiful velvety rose petals from a dozen roses my husband bought for me about a week ago. I would like to save them by making something with them, any ideas ?
What can I make with rose petals ?
You can use them in a bath along with some rose oil either add it into the tub (sorta messy to clean later) or get an rose oil spray or lotion to rub on after. The petals are symbolic for love and rather relaxing to bath with and if the tub is made for 2, very nice and romantic. Don't forget the candles and spread some of the petals around everywhere or even leading them into the bathroom with you waiting! So many ideas but here are a few! Have fun in whatever you do!
Reply:They are great frozen on top of a fruit salad. You can also dry them and make pot pourri.
Reply:Don't use flowers from a florist for anything edible, they have chemicals on and in them! However you can use them in potpourri and you can also do a search on making rose petal beads (there are several methods, you can decide which method you prefer)
Next time you receive roses, you can also hang the entire rose, with stem, upside down until dry and use the dried rose(s) in dry arrangements or just bundle them together with a ribbon and some lace for an antique look
