Why do the buds on my rose bush turn brown and fall off before they open?

I think it is a miniature rose. It is planted outdoors in a sunny spot.

Why do the buds on my rose bush turn brown and fall off before they open?
go ask a gardener!!!
Reply:My roses were doing the same, but only in the summer time. The gardener said it was just too hot. They bloomed perfectly in the spring.
Reply:sounds like a bad infestation of aphids or spider mites.
Reply:I would be sure to look closely for aphids... they are horrible to roses. If you see any, go to the miracle gro website. they have stuff to treat for them. also, i hope you have been watering a good amount and fertilizing. another insect to watch out for are those green beetles (about the size of a fingernail). they love to eat your roses, but that makes them look limp and holey.
Reply:maybe to much sun..
Reply:you need to prune the plant down to where it is very green on the stems because the last winters we have had have caused plants like this to be frosted real bad so you have to give it a chance to heal this is true with trees and shrubs out doors that don't get full or leaves look brown
